Teaching methodology
An innovative feature of the teaching methodology is the Daily Class - Room Questions sheet. PAGE is the pioneer in developing this technique that is effective for IIT-JEE, AIEEE & BITSAT preparation and is the hallmark of its coaching method. Before the lecture, a DCQ sheet consisting of 10 to 15 questions pertaining to the subject is given to each student. These questions are to be solved by the students followed by a discussion of the solutions. This enables the teacher to constantly monitor the student’s performance. The course material effectively captures the essence of each concept and ensures thorough familiarization with the topic
Course Structure:
The training programme has four modules
Primer :
This Module contains course material with classroom instruction. When the classroom sessions are in progress, you are given course material, which is explained in detail from basic concepts to test specific topics. Students who are weak in Physics need not worry. The course takes up basic areas as part of the lectures.
Progress:
This module provides additional practice to gain the confidence, right speed and precision. You are given assignments and tests with complete solutions, which cover all the units specified in the syllabus.
These assignments and tests can be best utilized only if you have attended all classes and followed classroom instruction.
Proficiency:
As the course proceeds beyond fundamentals, you are given tests to improve your proficiency in all the testing areas. In this module, a proficiency test is conducted for every five units to serve as a reminder to revise and revisit units. There is a tendency to forget what was learned in the first unit as you approach the fourth unit. These tests have proved to be highly effective in helping students remember what they had learned a month or two earlier.
And the second objective of these tests is to help student master each of these topics by extensive and periodic practice.
Prowess:
In this module, Comprehensive tests based on IIT-JEE, AIEEE & BITSAT pattern are conducted to test minimum proficiency in all the sections of the full length tests, many a times you may find that you do not cross the minimum score in a section. Our evaluation system is designed to highlight these weaknesses. Trends like high error rate, low attempts, and weak sections are easily traced. Silly mistakes made are exposed during these tests and are rectified so as to build your confidence levels from test to test .
